The promotional features team is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to develop and optimize systems for gaming platforms. You will tackle deep technical engineering problems, ensuring high performance and scalability while contributing to SaaS solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain robust backend systems for promotional features
- Optimize existing systems for better performance and scalability
- Lead technical decisions and contribute to SaaS solutions
- Collaborate with distributed teams to implement new features
- Ensure code quality through architectural reviews
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability
What you'll need
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Open to engineers from Go, Java, C#, or C++ backgrounds
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency
- Experience with messaging tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS
- Production experience with gRPC
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, DynamoDB, or MongoDB
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes
- Skilled in building unit and end-to-end tests
- Experience with large-scale microservices architectures
Nice to have
- Understanding of enterprise development patterns
- Experience with active performance observation
- Prior experience in the gambling domain
- Knowledge of application security best practices
