Join the Data Serving team at the company to own the production-grade boundary between raw product data and its consumers, including AI agents and customers. You will design clean abstractions, versioned APIs, and high-performance serving layers that allow downstream teams to trust data without accessing raw sources.
Reporting to the VP of Data, you will collaborate with Data Platform Engineers, Product Managers, and GenAI teams. The focus is on building reliable, customer-facing infrastructure where latency and stability are critical, bridging the gap between data engineering and product backend services.
What you'll do
- Build and own the Data API boundary with clean, versioned, and performant endpoints
- Design and optimize read models, indexes, and caching strategies in Postgres
- Integrate with Kotlin-based product backend services to surface correct customer data
