Join the engineering team to build and maintain robust backend systems for a core platform. You will handle data pipelines, API development, and infrastructure optimization to ensure efficient scaling.
Collaborate with AI, frontend, and product teams to integrate new capabilities. The role involves making architectural decisions and shaping the evolution of the backend stack in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain backend features and APIs for the core platform
- Improve database performance, reliability, and real-time data processing
- Debug, profile, and optimize code to ensure low latency and stability
- Collaborate with AI, frontend, and product teams on new integrations
- Contribute to architectural decisions and backend stack evolution
What you'll need
- 5-7 years of experience building production-grade backends
- Strong proficiency in Python is mandatory
- Solid skills in SQL and data modelling with PostgreSQL or similar
- Experience with REST APIs and cloud environments, preferably AWS
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of problems
Nice to have
- Experience with Go, C++, or Java
- Linux debugging and performance tuning skills
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible
- Experience with data pipelines or analytical databases
- Interest in edge and cloud hybrid architectures
