Join Voize as a Senior Backend Engineer within the US/UK squad based in Germany. You will design and maintain the integrations that link Voize’s AI companion with senior care and hospital software platforms, ensuring smooth data exchange.
Your work involves building resilient systems that handle inconsistent partner interfaces while setting technical standards. This position offers the chance to directly impact healthcare efficiency by freeing nurses from administrative tasks.
What you'll do
- Build interfaces connecting Voize with care and medical sector systems
- Develop scalable APIs and help establish industry standards
- Own integrations from initial concept through to long-term operation
- Design resilient data models and concurrent systems for unreliable partners
- Set technical direction, review code, and mentor other engineers
What you'll need
- Several years of backend development experience on the JVM
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Scala or similar languages
- Strong grasp of concurrent and asynchronous programming concepts
- Experience designing APIs and integrations using REST or GraphQL
- Business-fluent English (C1) for direct customer and partner interaction
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK or US
