You will engineer high-load backend systems and data infrastructure that processes over $1 billion in ad spend, focusing on scalability, reliability, and modernizing legacy architectures.
What you'll do
- Build scalable, high-load backend systems using Python
- Process 200–400 million records daily with big data tools
- Design unified APIs for multiple external channel integrations
- Ensure data quality through validation and monitoring
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Improve system reliability, observability, and cost efficiency
- Rewrite legacy systems using modern technologies
What you'll need
- 5+ years of commercial Python development experience
- Excellent knowledge of raw SQL and PostgreSQL optimization
- Experience building and scaling microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data pipelines
- Proficiency with modern CI/CD approaches and tools
- Experience integrating heterogeneous external APIs
- Strong focus on business impact in architectural decisions
Nice to have
- Experience with ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
- Knowledge of AdTech, attribution, or mobile marketing domains
- Experience with async Python for high-throughput ingestion
- Background in building LLM-powered features or AI agents
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana or Datadog
