Join the Support Services team at ClickHouse to deliver high-tier assistance to strategic enterprise users. You will balance hands-on engineering projects with case-initiated support, helping customers with architecture, integration, and production launches.
This position requires close collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams. You will also contribute to internal documentation, knowledge bases, and the mentoring of new team members while maintaining availability for global on-call rotations.
What you'll do
- Lead customer projects focusing on design, architecture, and implementation
- Provide consultative support for onboarding, POCs, and production launches
- Handle L1 to L3 support cases when not assigned to major projects
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap
- Create technical content including documentation, blogs, and reference architectures
- Mentor new hires and assist with team scaling efforts
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and regional travel as needed
What you'll need
- 5+ years in Professional Services, Support, or Engineering roles
- 5+ years implementing or supporting distributed database management systems
- Deep knowledge of DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS, and Linux/Unix
- Experience leading large-scale technical projects with multiple engineers
- Expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure services
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing interactions
Nice to have
- Prior experience with ClickHouse
- Active involvement in open-source communities
- Experience with data pipelines like Kafka, Spark, or RabbitMQ
