Join the Data Infrastructure team at Dandy, where you will own the platform that powers analytics for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and ML groups. You will transform raw data into trusted resources while laying the groundwork for AI-ready data systems.
This hands-on engineering role focuses on building reliable ingestion connectors, evolving core platform components, and ensuring data quality across the organization.
What you'll do
- Design and operate ingestion pipelines using tools like Fivetran and BigQuery
- Manage dbt models, semantic layers, and data observability frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into data products
- Extend platform capabilities to support AI and agent-based workflows
- Ensure governed data access and safety for LLM integration
What you'll need
- Five or more years in data engineering or analytics engineering roles
- Experience building production ingestion pipelines and transformation workflows
- Expert-level SQL proficiency and fluency in Python for automation
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, or dbt
- Ability to drive consensus on platform decisions across teams
- Comfortable establishing processes in ambiguous startup environments
Nice to have
- Background in healthcare or regulated compliance-heavy sectors
- Experience supporting ML/AI workflows or agentic products
- Knowledge of handling PHI/PII data compliance in pipelines
