You will join a challenger holding company transforming marketing through media mix modelling and scenario planning. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and maintain large-scale data processing systems, ensuring performance and cost-efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Design and build scalable ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing
- Execute complex data transformations using PySpark and Databricks
- Fine-tune pipelines to maximize performance and cloud cost-efficiency
- Partner with engineering and business teams to define data solutions
- Debug and resolve complex data processing bottlenecks
- Enforce best practices for data quality and governance
What you'll need
- 5–7 years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in PySpark and Databricks
- Advanced knowledge of Databricks AutoLoader and Python
- Expertise in performance tuning and compute cost optimization
- Deep understanding of end-to-end ETL processes
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
