Constructor builds an in-house search engine for ecommerce using transformers and generative LLMs. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design experiments and analyze algorithms to improve ranking, personalization, and recommendations for major global retailers.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze A/B tests to measure impact on revenue and profit
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning to solve product problems
- Evaluate and improve search, ranking, and personalization algorithms
- Analyze large-scale behavioral data to generate insights for teams
- Build models and tools to support better decision making
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders
What you'll need
- Strong experience solving business problems with data science
- Solid knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets
- Strong Python skills for analysis and modeling
- Deep understanding of A/B testing and statistical inference
- Understanding of how ML models are trained and evaluated
- Experience connecting model performance to business metrics
- Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ranking, recommendations, or search relevance
- Experience in ecommerce or with large-scale user behavioral data
- Experience in customer-facing analytical work
