Join Amplify’s Sales Analytics team to drive data-driven decision-making across the sales organization. You will analyze trends, build predictive models for various time horizons, and translate forecasts into strategic recommendations for revenue planning.
Reporting to the Data Science Manager, you will collaborate with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts in a scrum environment. Your work spans the entire data stack, from source data modeling to deploying end-to-end data products.
What you'll do
- Build statistical and ML models for sales forecasting across business domains
- Own the full ML lifecycle from scoping and feature engineering to deployment
- Translate model outputs into actionable insights for business leaders
- Develop self-service analytics tools to empower business partners
- Mentor junior data scientists and lead technical design reviews
What you'll need
- 5+ years in data science with 3+ years in sales or demand forecasting
- Expert proficiency in Python or R for data cleaning and analysis
- Deep knowledge of time series methods like ARIMA, Prophet, or LSTM
- Proficient in SQL for complex data analysis tasks
- Experience training models using PyTorch, scikit-learn, or XGBoost
- Track record of deploying ML pipelines on AWS SageMaker or Databricks
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience working with Snowflake data warehouse
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containers
- Background in education technology or K-12 sector
