You will develop core products that identify fraudsters and manage financial risk. This full-stack position requires owning the entire model lifecycle, including data acquisition, feature engineering, training, and writing production-ready code for real-time decision making.
The team tackles complex challenges in identity resolution and application fraud. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate new data sources and drive product strategy through rigorous analysis and iterative development.
What you'll do
- Manage full model lifecycle from data acquisition to monitoring
- Build foundational modeling for fraud and financial risk products
- Research new fraud types and develop identity verification solutions
- Write reliable production code for real-time partner decisions
- Present analyses to guide data acquisition and sales strategies
- Collaborate with engineering to maintain data quality and access
What you'll need
- 4+ years experience with PhD or 6+ years with Masters degree
- Proven track record solving complex business problems with ML
- Strong end-to-end data science development capabilities
- Experience writing production code and tests
- Ability to communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders
- Must be legally authorized to work and live in the United States
- Startup experience is strongly preferred
Nice to have
- Familiarity with identity solutions or fintech industries
- Experience with state-of-the-art ML solutions
- Willingness to develop deep domain expertise in fraud
