Join the Admin Workflows team at 1Password to create simple, secure workflows that help organizations manage their digital identities. You will focus on enabling wall-to-wall adoption by building features that assist administrators in setting up and enforcing security policies across their teams.
This position requires balancing rapid product iteration with long-term architectural health. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to refine hypotheses and deliver high-quality user experiences while mentoring other engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture and implementation of scalable notification systems
- Partner with product and data teams to define measurable outcomes
- Balance rapid feature iteration with security and architectural health
- Conduct code reviews focusing on quality, performance, and best practices
- Mentor engineers through pairing and technical design discussions
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional software development in production SaaS
- Strong backend experience with Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python
- Deep expertise in React and/or TypeScript for web applications
- Ability to operate autonomously and drive technical initiatives
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Experience with security-focused development and threat modeling
- Knowledge of containerized services and Kubernetes in production
- Experience with transactional email systems like Amazon SES or SendGrid
