Join the Developer Acceleration team to build the paved path for AI-augmented product development. You will create tools and shared infrastructure that allow Jane's ~300 developers to ship faster by reducing friction and leveraging agentic AI.

The work involves embedding with product teams to diagnose workflow bottlenecks, building scalable solutions, and driving the adoption of agent-authored code from novelty to standard practice across the engineering org.

What you'll do

  • Build tools and shared infrastructure to accelerate developer workflows across the engineering org
  • Embed with product teams to identify friction points like CI noise or review latency
  • Develop safe environments for agents to perform real work and measure their impact
  • Treat initiatives like small startups: ship minimal versions, measure adoption, and iterate
  • Drive the adoption of agent-authored code by turning personal workflows into organizational defaults
  • Communicate frequently in distributed channels to share context and align the team

What you'll need

  • Deep experience designing systems that other developers depend on
  • Daily hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor
  • Track record of building production-grade systems within large, long-lived codebases
  • Proven ability to drive voluntary tool adoption through documentation and teaching
  • Experience working inside another team's workflow as an embed or consultant
  • Comfort defining your own problems and working without a set roadmap
  • Proficiency in TypeScript; Ruby on Rails knowledge is helpful but not required

Nice to have

  • Experience with evals, prompt engineering, or context engineering
  • Background in observability and quality assurance for non-deterministic systems
  • Knowledge of guardrails that make autonomous agents safe to trust

Stack

  • TypeScript
  • Ruby on Rails
  • Claude Code
  • Cursor

How you'll work

  • Remote-first team across Canada, US, and UK
  • Distributed environment requiring over-communication

What you get

  • Annual salary range $128,000 to $200,000 USD
  • Regular career development conversations
  • Compensation growth tied to experience and contribution
  • Comprehensive benefits package
