You will define and execute the strategy for developer events and in-person community interactions. Your work involves selecting high-impact conferences, organizing proprietary gatherings, and fostering long-term relationships with developers beyond single events.
Starting with a focus on San Francisco and New York City, you will expand the program to other locations over time. You will collaborate closely with Developer Advocacy, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure events drive meaningful engagement and business value.
What you'll do
- Build a calendar of conferences, meetups, and hosted events
- Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and manage related budgets
- Plan and execute meetups, workshops, and developer dinners
- Foster ongoing community connections between physical events
- Represent the company on-site and handle logistical details
- Partner with Developer Advocates on technical content and talks
- Collaborate with marketing and sales on follow-up strategies
- Capture media and key takeaways for social media distribution
What you'll need
- Experience building developer events or communities
- Background in developer tools, infrastructure, or tech firms
- Proven track record of growing engaged user communities
- Strong event production and on-site management skills
- Experience managing sponsorships, vendors, and budgets
- Ability to collaborate with advocacy, marketing, and sales
- Strong communication skills with developers and partners
- Capable of working independently and prioritizing travel
Nice to have
- Existing networks in SF or NYC developer communities
- Experience in security, identity, or infrastructure sectors

- Remote-first role based in the United States
- Preference for candidates in SF Bay Area or NYC
- Regular travel for team meetings and industry events
