What you'll do
- Build customer-facing payment features such as surcharging and automation
- Apply enterprise architecture patterns to scale reliable payment systems
- Communicate proactively to align the distributed team and surface risks
- Partner with product teams to deliver measurable outcomes from ideas
- Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve software development
What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong backend expertise and knowledge of enterprise architecture
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade SaaS systems
- Willingness to work across the stack or grow into full stack development
- Open, energetic communication style suitable for remote collaboration
- Enthusiasm for using AI in the software development lifecycle
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Background in payments or financial systems
- Knowledge of mortgage, property tech, or loyalty card systems
