You will take full ownership of Adapty’s infrastructure platform, which processes billions in subscription volume annually. The focus is on codifying the environment, rightsizing resources to reduce costs, and separating development workloads from production without downtime.
The team operates a hybrid setup using OVH, Hetzner, and bare metal alongside AWS and GCP. You will ensure stability through rigorous incident response and maintain all infrastructure as code using modern tooling.
What you'll do
- Manage Proxmox and Ceph platform including capacity, upgrades, and performance
- Operate infrastructure across OVH, Hetzner, bare metal, AWS, and GCP
- Drive resource rightsizing to identify overpayment and prove cost savings
- Lead separation of development workloads into a dedicated cluster
- Maintain all infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD
- Handle on-call duties, incident response, and root cause analysis
- Support data layers including PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Aerospike
What you'll need
- 10+ years experience with infrastructure and physical hardware
- 5+ years running Kubernetes and cloud platforms in production
- Hands-on experience with bare metal providers like OVH and Hetzner
- Proficiency with AWS and/or GCP environments
- Strong skills in Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI
- Proven FinOps experience with measurable cost reduction results
- Ability to trace problems to root cause and implement fixes
- Direct communication style with early risk reporting
Nice to have
- Production experience with Proxmox and Ceph
- Experience scaling PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or Aerospike
- Background in splitting shared environments into isolated clusters
- Experience building observability and on-call practices from scratch
- High-load B2B SaaS industry background
