You will define statistical strategy across a growing portfolio of Phase-2-ready therapeutic assets. This position requires balancing executive leadership with direct contribution, guiding trials from protocol development through database lock while establishing standards for biostatistics, programming, and medical writing functions.
What you'll do
- Set statistical strategy for the entire asset portfolio
- Lead statistics on active programs from protocol to CSR
- Serve as primary statistical contact for health authorities
- Assess statistical rigor of data during due diligence
- Build and scale biostatistics and programming teams
- Oversee statistical programming deliverables and CDISC standards
- Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML in workflows
What you'll need
- PhD in statistics/biostatistics with 10+ years experience
- Or MS with 15+ years including lead statistician roles
- Experience leading programs through Clinical Study Report
- Direct interaction with FDA or EMA on early-phase INDs
- Required experience in adaptive trial design
- Strong knowledge of CDISC standards and submission requirements
- Fluency in R and/or SAS for independent analysis output
- Track record of hiring and managing statistical teams
Nice to have
- Experience evaluating data for licensing or M&A activity
- Familiarity with applying AI/ML tools to statistical workflows
- Experience with NDA filings alongside INDs
