Lambda builds AI cloud infrastructure serving researchers and enterprises. As a Senior Electrical Delivery Engineer, you will ensure electrical systems in data centers meet design standards and operational requirements. You will lead site walkdowns, verify installations, and support the energization of critical power infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Perform site walkdowns to verify electrical installations against designs and standards
- Validate equipment ratings, protection settings, grounding, and redundancy
- Identify installation deficiencies and drive punch-list items to closure
- Review construction test results and witness acceptance testing procedures
- Develop energization plans, switching procedures, and safety controls
- Support initial energization and troubleshoot substation and UPS issues
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, utilities, and deployment teams
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership during high-risk activities
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience delivering or commissioning electrical systems in data centers
- Knowledge of medium- and low-voltage distribution and protective relays
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and protection studies
- Hands-on experience with site inspections and electrical testing
- Understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and NETA safety requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively to construction and commissioning sites
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience commissioning hyperscale or AI data centers
- Familiarity with Level 1–5 commissioning and integrated systems testing
- Experience with protective-relay and breaker testing tools
- Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or Procore
- Professional Engineer licensure or commissioning certification
- Experience leading root-cause analysis for electrical failures
