- Validate automated electrical outputs to ensure quality before client delivery
- Define development and validation standards for electrical scope during FEED
- Review deliverables including single-lines, load lists, and distribution architecture
- Build repeatable checks to identify inconsistencies in load assumptions and equipment
- Map sources of electrical rework and identify inputs that drive them
- Clarify interface points with mechanical, process, instrumentation, and grid teams
- Distinguish between repetitive tasks and those requiring engineering judgment
What you'll need
- 7+ years experience at large EPC, PMC, owner-operator, or utility
- Direct experience in combined cycle, simple cycle, LNG, or cogeneration projects
- Proven ownership of single-line diagram and load list development through FEED
- Strong knowledge of power system architecture including transformers and switchgear
- Proficiency with power system study tools like ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE, NESC, NERC, and IEC standards
- Familiarity with grid interconnection and switchyard interfaces
- Ability to spot inconsistencies across load lists and vendor packages quickly
Nice to have
- Experience as a discipline lead or technical authority
- Work on data center or behind-the-meter power campuses
- Experience with brownfield tie-ins or islanded power systems
- Knowledge of protection and relaying philosophy
- Genuine interest in AI and automation technologies
Stack
