Join a startup building foundational technology for large-scale AI data center clusters. The team is led by experienced operators and backed by top-tier investors, operating across the U.S., Canada, and Taiwan.
You will drive board design execution and system integration for high-performance compute platforms. The role requires deep expertise in server hardware development and close collaboration with manufacturing partners.
What you'll do
- Lead schematic design and component selection for server boards
- Define system architecture and power delivery strategies
- Develop hardware supporting CPUs, accelerators, and memory
- Collaborate with Taiwan ODMs on design reviews and manufacturing
- Support customer technical discussions and requirements gathering
- Ensure compliance for PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, and other links
- Lead board bring-up, debug, and system-level validation
- Partner with SI/PI, firmware, and mechanical teams
- Drive DFM/DFT reviews and resolve production issues
What you'll need
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years in board design and system-level hardware
- Background in server or high-performance compute platforms
- Expertise in schematic capture and power architecture
- Experience working with Taiwan ODMs like Foxconn or Quanta
- Familiarity with PCIe, CXL, DDR, and Ethernet interfaces
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical discussions
Nice to have
- Knowledge of signal and power integrity fundamentals
- Experience with server-class power delivery and VRMs
