Join the AppSec team to lead the strategic shift toward embedding security directly into engineering workflows. You will design and scale modern application security practices, leveraging AI automation to streamline vulnerability triage and remediation while collaborating with Vulnerability Operations.
The role requires partnering with Platform and Infrastructure teams to build frictionless guardrails. You will also drive developer enablement through the Security Champions program and secure coding workshops, ensuring legacy risks are addressed without disrupting development velocity.
What you'll do
- Operationalize Secure by Design principles in feature designs and IaC checks
- Architect threat models and enhance AI-generated modeling pipelines
- Configure and tune SAST, DAST, SCA, Secrets, and LLM scanner rulesets
- Build new AppSec processes while maintaining legacy security controls
- Pioneer AI-driven automation to accelerate vulnerability triage
- Provide technical fix guidance for complex structural flaws
- Drive developer security enablement via Security Champions program
- Partner with Platform teams to automate guardrails in CI/CD
What you'll need
- Deep experience in AppSec or Product Security in cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
- Proven track record tuning security scanners in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with threat modeling and Secure by Design principles
- Proficiency using AI/LLM tools to automate security analyses
- Fluency in Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java
- Excellent communication skills to lead cross-functional initiatives
