Join Chartis IT Security as a hands-on Senior Security Engineer supporting cloud-native and AI-driven development. You will work closely with engineering teams to embed security controls into application development, cloud platforms, and delivery pipelines without creating friction. This position emphasizes identity, automation, and platform security rather than audit or review functions.
What you'll do
- Partner with engineering teams to design secure architectures and solutions
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and platform tooling
- Provide technical guidance and reusable patterns for secure development
- Own and improve application onboarding and identity integration processes
- Translate security requirements into practical, scalable, automated controls
- Collaborate with developers while maintaining clear security team ownership
What you'll need
- 5–8+ years in security engineering focusing on IAM and DevSecOps
- Hands-on administration of Okta Identity Cloud and Governance
- Strong cloud administration experience in Microsoft Azure
- Working knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Kubernetes workload identity and access controls
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
- Understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML standards
- Experience integrating security into infrastructure-as-code workflows
Nice to have
- Okta Certified Administrator or Professional certification
- Experience supporting AI/ML platforms or ecosystems
- Knowledge of secrets management and zero trust architecture
- Familiarity with LangSmith and other AI-related tools
