Join the Platform Engineering team as a Senior Security Engineer tasked with finding and fixing vulnerabilities in production infrastructure. You will write Terraform and application code to close security gaps, manage cloud posture, and lead incident response efforts. Working closely with the CISO, you will drive remediation across teams and enforce security baselines as code.
What you'll do
- Remediate security findings by writing Terraform and application code changes
- Drive vulnerability fixes to completion across teams not directly managed
- Manage AWS security posture including IAM, network boundaries, and secrets
- Define and enforce technical security baselines for new services as code
- Conduct regular penetration testing and threat modelling for new designs
- Serve as technical lead for security incidents and forensic investigations
- Tune detection coverage and alerts in Datadog for better signal accuracy
What you'll need
- Five or more years of hands-on security engineering experience
- Proficiency in writing and shipping code using Terraform and Python
- Deep AWS security experience including IAM and container workloads
- Experience with application security, threat modelling, and offensive testing
- Proven ability in security incident response and forensic investigation
- Experience driving vulnerability management fixes across independent teams
- Background in regulated environments with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or SOC 2
- Detection engineering experience with Datadog or comparable SIEM tools
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions
- Practical knowledge of cryptography, key rotation, and certificate lifecycle
- Experience using AI coding tools for remediation and code review
- Prior experience in payments, cards, or digital assets sectors
