You will serve as the functional leader for Cashalo, working closely with the General Manager to drive engineering strategy. Leading an established team of 11–12 engineers, you will address complex, multi-stakeholder problems and integrate proven patterns from other markets into the Philippine operation.
What you'll do
- Act as functional leader for Cashalo in partnership with the local GM
- Lead and maintain high performance of an 11-12 person engineering team
- Solve ambiguous, multi-stakeholder business problems through to resolution
- Adapt proven engineering patterns from other markets to regional needs
- Travel to the Philippines approximately once per quarter
What you'll need
- Deep experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams
- Product-first mindset focused on leveraging existing technology
- Ability to align groups and solve root causes of complex problems
- Experience working in startup or scrappy environments
- Daily use of AI tools and agents in workflow
- Capability to engage in robust technical discussions with senior engineers
How you'll work
- 100% remote role based in Singapore
- Travel to Philippines 4-6 times per year
