Lead the Client Platform organization, overseeing the software that enables autonomous pentests within customer environments. You will manage two sub-teams focused on Image Build & Release and OTA Services, ensuring reliable and secure delivery of the NodeZero runner.
This position requires setting technical direction and engineering norms for a distributed team. You will partner with security researchers and product managers to drive the client-side roadmap while maintaining high standards for supply chain security and update mechanisms.
What you'll do
- Build and mentor a team of ~10 engineers across two sub-teams
- Manage Engineering Managers for Image Build and OTA Services
- Lead CI/CD workflows for creating and signing container images
- Own software supply chain security including SBOM and scanning
- Architect OTA update systems for thousands of customer environments
- Collaborate with Security Research on new pentest capabilities
- Act as Product Owner for the client-side roadmap
What you'll need
- Experience leading teams building containerized software for on-premise use
- Expertise in secure builds, image signing, and reproducible builds
- Background designing OTA update mechanisms for distributed agents
- Ability to reason about correctness in opaque customer environments
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or C++
- Strong Linux OS-level operations and networking knowledge
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for container image signing
Nice to have
- Exposure to cybersecurity or pentesting tools
- Experience with cross-platform agents on Windows and Linux
- Background in software for air-gapped or restricted networks
- Familiarity with SLSA supply chain security framework
