As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own the technical delivery of Maven AGI’s platform for strategic enterprise customers. You will translate complex customer workflows into robust AI systems, handling everything from initial scoping and integration building to production launch and quality validation.
This role requires a hands-on builder who thrives in customer-facing environments. You will write code, manage APIs, debug edge cases, and collaborate with internal product teams to turn field insights into platform improvements, ensuring high-impact results for client support operations.
What you'll do
- Own post-sale implementation from kickoff through production launch
- Translate customer workflows into technical plans and launch criteria
- Build and debug integrations with CRMs, ticketing tools, and APIs
- Configure and extend the platform using JavaScript, TypeScript, and SDKs
- Design and run evaluations for AI behavior, quality, and correctness
- Establish launch readiness including testing, logging, and rollback paths
- Partner with Product and Engineering to address platform gaps
- Communicate technical details clearly to customers and internal teams
What you'll need
- 5+ years in software, implementation, or solutions engineering
- Strong coding skills in JavaScript and Node.js
- Expertise in REST APIs, webhooks, auth, and error handling
- Experience delivering complex customer-facing projects to production
- Comfortable leading customer discussions and managing scope risks
- Practical understanding of AI/LLM systems, prompting, and evals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High ownership mindset with ability to drive progress independently
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Intercom
- Knowledge of CCaaS platforms like Genesys, Five9, or Twilio
- Familiarity with data integration tools such as Workato or Airbyte
- Background in observability, CI/CD, and incident response
- Understanding of security standards like SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA
- Previous experience at an AI or high-growth SaaS company
