Commure is developing an AI-native platform that automates documentation, patient workflows, and revenue cycle management for healthcare organizations. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with clinicians and healthcare clients to design, implement, and support tailored technical solutions.
You will bridge the gap between engineering and client needs, ensuring successful deployment and integration of Commure’s tools into real-world care settings. This role demands strong full-stack skills, effective communication, and the ability to solve complex problems on-site.
What you'll do
- Travel to client sites up to 20% of the time for builds and demos
- Implement and integrate solutions into client healthcare settings
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during deployment
- Collaborate with clients to define technology needs and compliance goals
- Support engineering teams in creating tailored healthcare solutions
- Identify and resolve technical challenges during project implementation
- Create and maintain technical documentation for onboarding and maintenance
- Monitor healthcare technology trends to propose relevant innovations
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience
- Strong grasp of full-stack engineering principles and system design
- Proficiency in Python, Javascript, React, and SQL
- Experience building products from concept to launch (0-1)
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
- Confidence in engaging directly with clients and collaborating
- Adaptability to fast-paced, client-focused healthcare environments
