You will join the engineering team to develop client-side code for Tempo’s integrated time management and resource planning solutions. Working with product managers, designers, and QA engineers, you will focus on solving customer problems through efficient and maintainable software.
The team values usability, performance, and security while creating plugins used by thousands of enterprise customers globally. This position requires strong autonomy and the ability to thrive in a multicultural, remote-first setting.
What you'll do
- Write efficient, readable, and testable client-side code
- Create unit, integration, and performance tests
- Review peer code to ensure quality standards
- Solve complex problems focusing on UX and security
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams
- Maintain and develop Atlassian plugins for Jira Cloud
What you'll need
- 4+ years of commercial front-end development experience
- 1+ year of commercial TypeScript with React experience
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
- Experience building complex user interfaces
- Upper-intermediate spoken and written English
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Solid communication skills for multicultural teams
Nice to have
- Experience with Java or Kotlin
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals like big-O
