As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will own the frontend codebase, translating Figma designs into precise React components while making key architectural decisions.
You will work autonomously to implement responsive UIs, manage state via custom hooks, and collaborate with backend teams to resolve API discrepancies. The team deploys to production weekly, requiring a strong focus on testing and performance optimization.
What you'll do
- Build pixel-perfect UIs in ReactJS matching Figma designs exactly
- Implement responsive web designs for various screen sizes
- Integrate RESTful APIs using custom hooks for state management
- Write comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests for CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with backend engineers to resolve API specification issues
- Investigate performance bottlenecks using browser developer tools
- Make autonomous system architecture decisions for long-term stability
- Deploy code changes to production on a weekly schedule
- Own the frontend codebase and ensure source code integrity
What you'll need
- Five or more years of full-time software engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Extensive professional experience working with NextJS
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages
- Deep understanding of ReactJS mechanics including hooks and contexts
- Proven history of integrating applications with RESTful APIs
- Strong familiarity with Figma or similar design collaboration tools
- Skilled at debugging complex UI issues and solving bugs
- Habitual practice of writing unit and end-to-end tests
