You will join the engineering team at Squads, a fintech company developing products like Squads Multisig and Altitude on the Solana blockchain. Your focus will be creating intuitive interfaces for managing digital assets and stablecoins, working closely with product and design teams to ship robust features.
What you'll do
- Implement responsive UI components with focus on performance and accessibility
- Lead frontend architecture and evolve the internal design system
- Collaborate with product and engineering to ship features from concept to launch
- Maintain scalable, well-documented, and tested application codebases
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to high-standard code reviews
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience building high-performance web applications
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript, advanced TypeScript, and React
- Proficiency with Next.js Server Components and state management libraries
- Experience with REST, gRPC, WebSocket APIs, and backend systems
- Strong understanding of web security fundamentals like CSP and CORS
- Familiarity with Chrome Extension APIs and extension sandboxing
Nice to have
- Experience or interest in hybrid design-engineering roles
- Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work and Figma familiarity
- Knowledge of blockchain UX patterns and product flows
- Prior experience with Solana development tools and SDKs
