Join a small, senior engineering team building low-latency trading systems where nanoseconds matter. You will work across the application stack, from trader-facing interfaces to backend services, ensuring reliability and performance for FX, Equities, and Cryptocurrency markets.
This is an individual contributor role requiring end-to-end ownership of complex features. You will design, build, test, and support production systems, mentoring peers and setting technical standards while utilizing AI tools to enhance engineering capability.
What you'll do
- Develop complex full-stack features using TypeScript and Rust
- Build real-time market-data presentation for trading interfaces
- Design architecture and solutions for critical technical problems
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting dashboards
- Own the full lifecycle of production systems including support
- Mentor engineers and conduct thoughtful code reviews
- Document systems and processes to scale team knowledge
What you'll need
- 5+ years of deep experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Solid proficiency with React and reactive state management
- Working knowledge of Rust or strong ability to learn it
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and API design
- Experience with real-time data protocols like WebSockets
- Ability to drive ambiguous problems to completion independently
- Comfortable with Git, Linux, and production incident response
Nice to have
- Experience with Python for scripting and automation
- Background in financial services or trading technology
- Familiarity with binary network protocols such as TCP/UDP
