Join a team developing the next generation of a highly visited news site using a headless architecture. You will define front-end standards, integrate with CMS platforms, and leverage AI-assisted workflows to meet aggressive launch targets.
What you'll do
- Design and build the new headless front-end architecture
- Deliver the initial launch page according to schedule
- Establish front-end standards, component patterns, and testing frameworks
- Own performance metrics, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and accessibility
- Connect user interfaces with headless CMS platforms and internal APIs
- Mentor team members and collaborate with engineering management
- Implement and refine AI-driven agentic workflows in development
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in senior front-end engineering
- Advanced proficiency in React, Next.js (App Router), and TypeScript
- Experience building on Headless CMS and API-driven content systems
- Strong focus on Core Web Vitals, Technical SEO, and Web Accessibility
- Proven track record of establishing automated testing practices
- Active use of AI coding assistants in daily workflow
- Fluent English for daily collaboration with US-based teams
