Join the team behind HTTPie to develop high-quality user-facing features for both web and desktop platforms. You will work on a shared codebase, implementing complex components and real-time collaboration tools while ensuring top-tier performance and user experience.
What you'll do
- Build user-facing features with a focus on excellent UX
- Implement complex React components with drag-and-drop support
- Develop shared codebase for Next.js and Electron apps
- Add real-time collaboration features across the product
- Improve application performance through profiling and optimization
What you'll need
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Experience building React single-page applications
- Solid understanding of HTTP and modern APIs
- Strong skills in testing, debugging, and automation
- Excellent written communication skills
- Passion for developer tools and simple design
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Background in building distributed systems
- Experience in early-stage startups
