What you'll do
- Design and ship full-stack features for patient and clinician products
- Build backend services in TypeScript/Node.js with regulatory compliance
- Develop user interfaces using React for web applications
- Model application data in MongoDB and PostgreSQL securely
- Integrate features with ML/AI services and safety guardrails
- Treat security and data residency as primary engineering concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate features
- Participate in code reviews and define engineering standards
- Triage alerts for collaborative error monitoring
- Contribute to product decisions and measure feature impact
What you'll need
- 4+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
- Solid experience building production web apps with React
- Comfortable with PostgreSQL, document databases, and KV stores
- Experience using AWS services in production environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Track record of shipping features with measurable user impact
- Available during North American business hours with EU overlap
- Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Familiarity with GraphQL and tRPC
- Experience with queue-based systems like BullMQ and Redis
- Background in regulated or security-sensitive industries
- Experience with React Native development
