Join Auror’s engineering team to carve out a core capability into its own service, complete with a new data model, API, and front end. You will work across the full stack, delivering a sophisticated UI and robust backend services while collaborating with Product and Design teams.
This contract role requires high autonomy and the ability to turn semi-formed requirements into clear, incremental releases. The goal is to leave a well-documented, testable codebase that the permanent team can confidently own and extend after the contract ends.
What you'll do
- Design and build a new service in C#/.NET including data models and API contracts
- Develop a sophisticated front-end experience using React and TypeScript
- Implement automated tests covering front-end behavior, API validation, and persistence
- Build in observability and failure recovery mechanisms from the start
- Break work into safe increments and surface risks or dependencies early
- Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into releases
- Ensure codebase and documentation are ready for handover to the permanent team
What you'll need
- Genuine full stack capability with strong C#/.NET preference
- Deep experience with React and TypeScript in production applications
- Ability to reason about APIs, service boundaries, and asynchronous workflows
- Comfortable working with semi-formed requirements and high autonomy
- Strong focus on automated testing, observability, and data integrity
- Responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools with full ownership of output
- Ability to onboard quickly and communicate technical decisions clearly

How you'll work
