Join the Lazer Commerce team to craft high-performing digital retail solutions within the Shopify ecosystem. You will partner with brands to implement custom storefronts, headless architectures, and complex backend integrations. The team values deep technical expertise and delivers products that drive significant revenue growth for clients like Google and Coinbase.
What you'll do
- Build custom Shopify storefronts using Liquid, React, Next.js, and Remix
- Design and develop public or private Shopify apps and backend APIs
- Implement Shopify Functions and optimize custom checkout logic
- Create robust integrations between Shopify and enterprise systems like ERP or OMS
- Manage data migrations and ETL processes for legacy system transitions
- Collaborate with designers and product teams on headless commerce builds
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members
What you'll need
- Strong experience in Liquid and custom Shopify theme development
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, Remix, and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and Shopify Functions
- Deep understanding of Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs
- Knowledge of API authentication, webhooks, and scalable architectures
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, or similar databases
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced consulting environment
Nice to have
- Familiarity with headless commerce architectures
- Experience with iPaaS tools like Celigo, MuleSoft, or Workato
- Knowledge of MongoDB or Supabase for data persistence
- Background in integrating with Netsuite, D365, or Contentful
