Join the Product Engineering team at Maze, a user research platform helping companies build better products faster. You will design and deliver high-impact features that allow researchers to analyze qualitative data and manage participant interactions.
You will partner with product managers and designers to solve complex problems, ensuring systems are scalable and performant. This role involves taking ownership of projects from concept to production while contributing to architectural decisions.
What you'll do
- Design and ship new features alongside product and design teams
- Build tools for analyzing qualitative data using classical techniques and LLMs
- Expand audience management systems for global participant connection
- Integrate video and scheduling tools for streamlined user interviews
- Evaluate and improve application performance, security, and maintainability
- Establish best practices and frameworks to measure feature impact
What you'll need
- Proficient in modern full-stack JavaScript with Node.js and React
- Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
- Strong commitment to writing well-tested, high-quality code
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to thrive and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js, NestJS, GraphQL, or TypeScript
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and/or Kubernetes
- Interest in UX, UI design, and the user research field
