Join a small team of engineers and designers dedicated to improving the API ecosystem through open-source contributions. You will own features from conception to production, working on documentation platforms, client libraries, and AI-powered agents. What you'll do

  • Ship features across Docs, SDKs, API Client, and Agent Scalar
  • Develop documentation platforms with Markdown, MDX, and AI chat
  • Generate type-safe client libraries from OpenAPI documents
  • Build offline-first API clients for macOS, Windows, and Linux
  • Implement secure MCP servers and AI features using Vercel AI SDK
  • Mentor peers through code reviews and design discussions
  • Manage backend services while contributing to frontend development

What you'll need

  • Senior-level experience shipping products end-to-end
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript-heavy stacks
  • Ability to take broad ownership from idea to deployment
  • Comfortable with modern frontend frameworks like Vue 3
  • High agency with clear communication and decision-making skills
  • Collaborative mindset focused on craft and developer experience

Nice to have

  • Experience building developer tools or working with JSON Schema
  • Deep knowledge of Vue 3, Vite, and server-rendered front ends
  • Familiarity with real-time editing technologies like CRDTs or Yjs
  • Background in shipping AI, LLM, or MCP-powered features
  • Preference for building in-house tooling over external dependencies
