Join the Growth Pod at Nivoda, where you will own the technical journey from sign-up to active customer. You will build scalable backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces that drive conversion and retention in the global jewellery marketplace.
The team focuses on solving complex funnel problems through data analysis, experimentation, and robust engineering. You will work closely with Product and Data teams to enhance identity verification, risk management, and user engagement strategies.
What you'll do
- Own backend services for onboarding, verification, and activation funnels
- Design event-driven systems to track account states and trigger actions
- Integrate third-party identity verification and fraud risk providers
- Handle sensitive credit and payment data with high security standards
- Design and run experiments with proper guardrail metrics
- Perform cohort and funnel analysis using SQL in Snowflake
- Use AI agents to accelerate development while verifying outputs critically
What you'll need
- 4-7 years of backend product engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience with event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration
- Solid SQL skills and ability to analyze data in warehouses like Snowflake
- Proven rigor in designing and interpreting A/B tests
- Comfortable using AI tools for coding and analysis with critical review
- High tolerance for ambiguity and undefined problem spaces
Nice to have
- Experience integrating KYB/KYC or fraud detection providers
- Background in fintech or handling sensitive financial data
- Worked in high-growth marketplace environments
- Familiarity with Temporal, AWS Step Functions, or Kafka
