You will own the main product surface, working across frontend and backend in a single monorepo. The team focuses on modeling messy clinical data and building contract-first APIs to ensure type safety and reliability. You will integrate with external EHR systems and manage the full revenue cycle from patient acquisition to payment.
What you'll do
- Build user interfaces using the internal component library
- Design API routes with shared schemas for frontend and backend
- Model clinical and revenue cycle data in MongoDB for scalability
- Develop and maintain shared TypeScript packages used by all apps
- Take features from specification to production and provide support
- Integrate with client EHRs and external healthcare systems
- Manage financial event processing and transaction states
What you'll need
- 5+ years building production web applications
- 3+ years experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
- Strong TypeScript skills across the full stack
- Experience with Vue or React and Node/Express/MongoDB
- Ability to optimize database queries for large datasets
- Experience moving health data via HL7, FHIR, or EHR connectivity
- Proven track record improving large existing codebases
- Experience building auditable systems and configurable state machines
Nice to have
- Understanding of clinical workflows and care pathways
- Familiarity with OpenAI API or similar LLM tooling
- Experience with monorepo tools like Turborepo or Nx
- Knowledge of durable workflow orchestration tools
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with EDI/X12 standards
