Commure is developing an AI Operating System for healthcare to reduce administrative burdens and automate patient workflows. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will design and maintain backend and frontend logic for applications used by hundreds of thousands of clinicians.
You will collaborate directly with product teams to deploy features daily, ensuring high availability and performance for critical care delivery systems. The position offers full remote work within the United States.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain scalable healthcare AI applications using Java and React
- Design robust system architectures following cloud best practices
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement features
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks for high availability
- Participate in code reviews to share knowledge and best practices
- Write thorough tests and documentation for code quality
- Support deployment of on-prem and cloud-based solutions
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Professional full-stack development experience with backend and frontend
- Deep expertise in Java and scalable architecture design
- Experience with Spring Boot, React, and UX design frameworks
- Proven track record deploying cloud applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Experience with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Experience with document databases such as MongoDB
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare domain with HL7 and FHIR standards
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
