Join the Expansion Team at Vanta to shape the company's product-led growth strategy. You will build core systems for purchasing, trials, and renewals, creating seamless experiences that drive revenue automation and reduce operational friction.
This position focuses on the post-activation lifecycle, enabling prospects to try before they buy and helping existing customers expand their usage. Your work will directly impact measurable business outcomes by unlocking self-serve revenue opportunities.
What you'll do
- Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders to deliver significant business impact
- Set technical direction for critical areas to support rapid company growth
- Design and develop new product functionality using modern frameworks
- Build seamless checkout flows and self-serve upgrade paths
- Develop a unified framework for try-before-you-buy experiences
- Mentor engineers and contribute to building the engineering culture
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of industry experience in software engineering
- Proven track record in technical leadership roles for teams or projects
- Experience working in startup environments or bias-for-action cultures
- Previous experience delivering greenfield projects from scratch
- Willingness to use AI responsibly to amplify skills and efficiency
- Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the field
