What you'll do
- Design and evolve scalable backend systems using Python and Django
- Develop frontend experiences in React and TypeScript
- Lead complex initiatives from discovery through deployment
- Mentor engineers and conduct architectural reviews
- Partner with product and data teams to validate hypotheses
- Shape architectural direction for complex distributed systems
- Participate in on-call rotation one week every five weeks
What you'll need
- Deep backend expertise with full-stack capabilities
- Experience designing large-scale web applications and APIs
- Proficiency with Agentic AI tools and workflows
- Strong product mindset and data-driven decision making
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical bars
Nice to have
- Background in Java, Node.js, Ruby, Scala, PHP, or Go
- Experience with experimentation frameworks
