You will serve as the central command point during major outages, ensuring rapid triage and cross-team coordination. The team focuses on maintaining high availability for large-scale GPU clusters, networking, and storage infrastructure serving AI researchers and enterprises.
What you'll do
- Lead response to SEV-1 and SEV-2 incidents affecting AI infrastructure
- Serve as Incident Commander during major outages
- Coordinate engineering, networking, facilities, and vendor teams
- Manage end-to-end incident lifecycle from triage to resolution
- Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis
- Maintain incident response documentation and operational playbooks
- Provide executive-level incident summaries and status updates
- Track metrics like MTTR and MTTD to drive improvements
What you'll need
- 8+ years in incident management, SRE, or infrastructure operations
- Experience with large-scale distributed infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of data center operations and GPU clusters
- Knowledge of networking, storage, and cloud platforms
- Proven ability to lead high-pressure incident response situations
- Experience with ITIL, SRE, or equivalent frameworks
- Proficiency with PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Jira, and Datadog
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have
- Experience operating AI or HPC infrastructure
- Familiarity with NVIDIA clusters and InfiniBand networks
- Background in hyperscale or colocation data centers
- Knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS)
- Experience building incident command processes from scratch
