Join the Government Systems team to build and operate the deployment platform for Chainalysis Reactor. You will ensure reliable delivery of blockchain intelligence tools to government agencies operating in restricted network environments. As a technical leader, you will bridge infrastructure operations and product delivery, setting standards for security and scalability.
What you'll do
- Lead design and evolution of RKE2 Kubernetes clusters across all environments
- Architect infrastructure as code using Terraform for AWS provisioning
- Own end-to-end CI/CD platform architecture using GitHub Actions
- Drive GitOps delivery strategies with Flux CD, Helm, and Kustomize
- Define container image lifecycle policies including signing and distribution
- Eliminate operational toil through systemic automation improvements
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
- Manage security posture including secrets, certificates, and RBAC policies
- Mentor team members through code reviews and technical guidance
What you'll need
- Deep experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for cloud infrastructure
- Strong Linux systems administration skills (RHEL or similar)
- Extensive experience designing reliable CI/CD pipelines
- Deep familiarity with AWS services like EC2, VPC, and IAM
- Strong operational mindset focused on reliability and automation
- Eligibility to access U.S. Government information (U.S. Citizen)
Nice to have
- Experience with GitOps tools like Flux CD or ArgoCD
- Familiarity with container registry operations and image signing
- Experience managing databases in Kubernetes environments
- Familiarity with Kafka in containerized environments
- Advanced scripting proficiency in Python
- Experience with strict security compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FIPS)
- Interest in the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem
