You will maintain the stability and security of NerdWallet's technology infrastructure, covering identity management, endpoint configuration, and cloud platforms. The position involves designing systems, automating user lifecycle processes, and ensuring SOX compliance while collaborating with Security and DevOps teams.
What you'll do
- Administer Okta for SSO, authentication, and access controls
- Automate user onboarding, offboarding, and device provisioning
- Maintain networks, servers, firewalls, and cloud services
- Manage endpoints via Jamf or Intune including patching
- Enforce SOX auditing and compliance across IT processes
- Build automation using code and no-code tools to reduce toil
- Create technical documentation such as runbooks and SOPs
- Collaborate with Security and DevOps on infrastructure improvements
What you'll need
- Degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in network infrastructure troubleshooting and AWS
- Experience with IdP/SSO concepts and Okta administration
- Experience administering MDM platforms like Jamf or Intune
- Understanding of security principles and data protection
- Skills in automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or APIs
- Experience with Terraform, Git, and GitHub
- Ability to execute project plans independently
Nice to have
- Experience scaling IT systems during organizational growth or M&A
- Use of AI tools to solve IT and business problems
- Experience implementing SOX, NIST, or ISO compliance controls
- IT certifications in System Administration, Security, or Networking
