Join Actai to develop intelligent tools for email, notes, and workflows that require minimal prompting. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will design and ship reliable ML systems that handle long-running tasks and persistent context at scale.
What you'll do
- Own critical ML subsystems from data preparation to inference
- Convert research concepts into reliable production systems
- Debug model failures using real-world production signals
- Iterate quickly by shipping, measuring, and refining outcomes
- Mentor other engineers through technical judgment and example
- Optimize for latency, cost, reliability, and safety constraints
What you'll need
- Proven experience shipping ML systems to real users
- Deep understanding of model behavior in production environments
- Ability to write robust, production-quality code and systems
- Strong ownership mindset with independent execution skills
- Clear communication and rapid learning capabilities
