Actai is building proactive applications that bring intelligence to conversations and workflows with minimal prompting. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will own critical ML subsystems, turning research ideas into reliable production systems. You will work end-to-end on data preparation, training, and inference to reduce hallucinations and improve real-world task completion.
What you'll do
- Build core ML systems for proactive, long-horizon AI products
- Own the full lifecycle from data prep to inference and iteration
- Convert research concepts into reliable production-grade systems
- Debug model failures using real-time production signals
- Collaborate with research and product teams to deliver user impact
- Mentor other engineers through technical judgment and example
What you'll need
- Proven experience shipping ML systems used by real users
- Deep understanding of modern ML model behavior in production
- Ability to write strong, production-quality code and think in systems
- Self-starter who takes ownership and drives work to completion
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly
