Join the Search Quality team at Constructor, an AI-first ecommerce search platform. You will build systems that measure and improve search relevance for hundreds of millions of users across various retail domains. The work involves balancing quality and speed in production environments while leveraging advanced machine learning techniques.
What you'll do
- Fine-tune LLMs to assess search relevance and understand query intent
- Implement real-time reranking, filtering, and signal computation in production
- Build automated pipelines to detect quality degradations and underperforming patterns
- Develop agent-based systems that generate actionable recommendations for search configs
- Optimize and scale LLM inference across a large global customer base
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of experience shipping production ML systems
- Background in search, information retrieval, or recommendation systems
- Hands-on experience with fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and scaling LLMs
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, SQL, and tools like Spark or Airflow
- Experience designing and running A/B tests to validate model impact
- Excellent English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
