You will serve as a player-coach, writing production code for enterprise audit firms while hiring and mentoring engineers. This position reports to the CTO and focuses on scaling forward deployed engineering efforts by turning custom solutions into reusable platform features.
What you'll do
- Lead technical delivery for large enterprise customers from scoping to production
- Write production code for agents, integrations, and tools
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to CIOs and audit leaders
- Hire, coach, and grow a team of forward deployed engineers
- Create playbooks and metrics to make deployments repeatable
- Identify patterns in field work to build reusable platform features
What you'll need
- 5+ years leading forward deployed or solutions engineering teams
- Recent experience writing production software
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and build teams early on
- Comfort presenting to senior stakeholders in regulated environments
- Judgment to balance custom builds versus platform development
- Interest in applying AI agents to professional workflows
Nice to have
- Experience at Big 4 firms or major consulting agencies
- Knowledge of audit, accounting, risk, or compliance
- Experience deploying LLM or agent-based systems in production
